The Scotts believe that there isn’t any person who wouldn’t like whiskey. You just have to find your favorite type of whiskey. Sticking by this proverb, famous American brand Jack Daniels created honey whiskey with a mild flavor primarily targeted at a female audience. Following the success of this drink, bartenders created quite a few cocktail recipes which perfectly combine whiskey and honey. We’ll look at two of these recipes.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey is a mix of aged whiskey (at least 4-year-old), honey liqueur, cinnamon, and spices with ABV of 35%. This beautiful amber drink has golden shade, floral aroma and mild honey flavor with light hints of irises and pears.

You can sip Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey neat like a dessert drink (serve at a temperature of 18-21°C), with ice or coffee. This honey whiskey goes well with sweets and fruits. Those who enjoy contrasting flavors can add a lime or lemon wedge.

A renowned global leader in bourbon production (that’s American corn whiskey), Jim Beam company, released its own honey whiskey Jim Beam Honey. Its organoleptic properties are very similar to Jack Daniel’s.
